The United Nations International Telecommunication Union has launched its global initiative named the Young Innovators Competition.
The annual competition targets promising social entrepreneurs in an effort to foster entrepreneurship in the digital domain as well as other fields in local communities around the world.
The competition also plays a key role in putting participating entrepreneurs on the right track through an extensive program embracing building capacities and offering knowledge with the help of experts and mentors.
Selected winners will win seed funding in an effort to turn their insight into reality or expand their start-ups to a larger scale.
The competition lists some conditions, such as entrants should be between 18 and 25 years of age and they must have already started their own business or have drawn up a vision of innovative project idea.
The two selected winners will be invited to participate in ITU Telecom World 2015 that set to take place in Budapest, Hungary October 12-15, 2015.
During the event, participants will put forward their ideas, participate in workshops and benefit from a one-year, comprehensive training and receiving a fund.
