Suez Canal Authority chief to stay for another year

President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi has extended the term of Suez Canal Authority chief Mohab Mamish for one extra year starting in January.
Mamish, a former commander in Egypt’s naval forces, took over the authority in August 2012, supervising work in the Suez Canal Area Development Project, the biggest undertaking by Sisi since his election as president in 2014.
