Rights organization criticizes warning 50 Al-Azhar students against inappropriate clothing

The Association For the Development and Enhancement of Women called for Al-Azhar University management to act against the decisions taken by the Damanhur branch of Al-Azhar University's Faculty of Islamic Studies against 50 female students over inappropriate clothing on campus.
The students have been warned by the dean of faculty.
The association described the dean's warning as a blatant violation against the personal freedom of students.
The association called on Al-Azhar University management to guarantee the personal freedoms of students on campus including the choice of their clothing.
The association warned of leaving the decision on whether clothes are appropriate or not to personal evaluation, saying it would lead to serious repercussions.
