Mohamed Eleiwa, spokesperson for the Egyptian Prisons Authority, said that former President Hosni Mubarak is in good health and has not suffered any health setbacks over the past period.
Eleiwa gave his statements after Mubarak’s doctor Mohamed al-Deeb visited the Tora prison hospital to examine the former president.
Eleiwa added that Mubarak's doctor was summoned to examine Mubarak even though Mubarak has not suffered any health problems recently.
Doctors who work at military hospitals who used to come to examine Mubarak during the interim period, in which the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces ruled, no longer come to see him, he said, adding that only his personal doctor examines him now.
