Policeman killed, another wounded in Giza checkpoint attack

Unknown gunmen opened fire at a checkpoint in the Giza town of Badrashin, killing one soldier and injuring another.
Giza security officials said the assailants were driving a motorbike.
Drive-by shootings and bombings have killed hundreds of army and police officers since the ouster of former President Mohamed Morsi in 2013. Authorities have blamed the killing sprees on the Muslim Brotherhood, while an Islamic State affiliate has claimed responsbility for attacks in the Sinai Peninsula.
