MP Mortada Mansour calls for honoring Mubarak

MP Mortada Mansour called for honoring former President Hosni Mubarak after his acquittal from charges of killing demonstrators during the January 25 revolution.
Mubarak is one of the 6th of October war heroes and his name should be reinstalled on the metro stations and public facilities that formerly carried it, said Mansour.
He described those who have been attacking Mubarak since the revolution as "mad dogs", and accused the Muslim Brotherhood of killing demonstrators during the January 25 revolution.
Mansour added in a phone-in with Infirad program, Thursday evening on Al-Assema channel, that the "one who fabricated the case against Mubarak is now detained, along with his gang", in a reference to toppled President Mohamed Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood.
The Court of Cassation acquitted Mubarak on Thursday of charges of inciting the killing of protesters during the January 25, 2011 revolution, in the case known in media as the "Trial of the Century ".
The court agreed, for the first time ever in its history, to leave the Higher Court headquarters and move to the Police Academy, where the trial was held due to security concerns.
