Moderately warm weather for Egypt on Friday

Meteorologists predict moderately warm weather in Cairo, Lower Egypt, central Sinai, northern Upper Egypt, and along the northeastern coasts on Friday, with warmer weather expected for South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and southern Upper Egypt during daytime.

Moderately cool temperatures are predicted for Egypt’s northwestern coasts, with very cold weather expected across the country during the night. 

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 21C in Cairo and Alexandria, 23C in Qena and Luxor, and 24C in Aswan.

Winds are predicted to be active in northern Upper Egypt, along the northeastern coasts, and in central Sinai, possibly disrupting maritime navigation and blowing up sands and dust in Cairo and Lower Egypt.

More moderate winds are predicted for South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, and southern Upper Egypt. 

Meanwhile, light rain is expected in different areas of Lower Egypt, along the northeastern coasts, and in central Sinai, with light to moderate rain predicted along the northwestern coasts.

Fog is also predicted to impact visibility on the road in Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be rough, ranging between 2.5 and three meters in height with northwestern to southwestern surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be light to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height with northwestern surface winds.
