Egypt sees more cold weather, possible rainfall on Tuesday

Meteorologists predict cool weather across Egypt on Tuesday, accompanied by rain in the country’s north, parts of Sinai, Lower Egypt and Cairo.

Temperatures are expected to grow very cold throughout the country at night. 

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 16C in Cairo and Alexandria, 18C in Qena, 19C in Luxor, 20C in Aswan, 22C in Sharm el-Sheikh and 21C in Hurghada.

Winds will be mostly northwestern, disturbing sands and dust in the country’s south. Winds will also be active on the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be rough, ranging between 2.5 and three meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
