Beltagy’s wife, son sentenced to 6 months in prison

Maadi Misdemeanor Court sentenced the son and the wife of Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed al-Beltagy to 6 months in prison and a fine of LE5000 on Sunday, on charges of insulting two of the guards at Tora court.
The security forces had arrested Beltagy's wife, Sanaa Abdel Gawad and his son Anas, and released them later on a LE5000 bail, pending investigation regarding a quarrel between the two defendants two Tora Prison guards.
The public prosecutor accused the defendants of insulting a state employee while on duty.
