Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt have announced providing service for customers, on Friday January 6.
These include purchase and inquiry about the new savings certificates of 25 percent interest deposit return.
This is mainly due to the many who have shown interest.
Banque Misr announced, in a post on its official page on Facebook, that 126 branches will operate on Friday and Sunday to serve customers from 2 pm to 6 pm on Friday, and from 9 am to 3 pm on Sunday.
The 126 branches will provide services for purchasing savings certificates and exchanging foreign currencies only.
This is in contrast to the branches of sporting clubs and malls that provide all other banking services, the statement added.
While the National Bank of Egypt announced in a publication on its official page on Facebook that 146 branches will open provide services on Friday and Sunday, to purchase new annual platinum savings certificates, as well as to exchange foreign currencies.
