30 MB members sentenced to 3.5 years in prison over High Court riots

The Azbakeya Misdemeanor Court sentenced 30 Muslim Brotherhood members to three and a half years in prison over riots that took place at the High Court in November 2013. 
Supporters of toppled President Mohamed Morsy staged a protest at the High Court in November 2013 to denounce his trial, during which clashes erupted between protesters and the security forces. 
The prosecutor charged the defendants with assembling, resisting authorities, the deliberate destruction of public and private properties, blocking Ramses Street and joining a terrorist group.
